Jazmyn M.

Jazmyn is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia at Augusta University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina Aiken and began her nursing career in the Burn ICU at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. Her nursing experience includes adult and pediatric burn care, outpatient surgery, and perioperative nursing. While working in the Burn ICU, she cared for pediatric patients ranging from 4 months to 17 years old, giving her valuable experience caring for children with a variety of medical needs. 

Jazmyn chose nursing because of her passion for caring for others during vulnerable moments and providing comfort, reassurance, and skilled care. Night nursing has been especially meaningful to her, allowing her to combine her nursing experience with the opportunity to care for newborns. She loves being entrusted with a baby's care overnight and giving parents the opportunity to rest peacefully, knowing their little one is safe and well cared for.

In her free time, Jazmyn enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying time with her dogs.
