Amaya W.
Amaya is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina Aiken. She currently works as a perinatal nurse, caring for moms before, during, and after delivery, as well as caring for their newborns.
Amaya has a passion for caring for others and advocating for those who may not be able to advocate for themselves. She believes every family deserves to feel heard, supported, and cared for, especially during life’s most meaningful moments. What she loves most about nursing is being able to provide comfort, reassurance, and a listening ear during both the beautiful and challenging moments of a family’s journey.
As a night nurse, Amaya’s goal is to help new moms get the rest they need and deserve while knowing their little ones are in safe, loving, and capable hands. She loves providing newborn care, offering reassurance to parents, and helping make the transition into life with a new baby a little less overwhelming. She especially looks forward to all the sweet newborn snuggles along the way!
Outside of nursing, Amaya enjoys thrifting for unique vintage finds, traveling with friends and family, and binge-watching documentaries on Netflix.
Amaya is excited to be part of each family’s journey and is committed to providing compassionate, attentive care that helps parents feel comfortable, confident, and supported as they adjust to life with their newest little love.
